How do Kaijus like their coffee? With scream and sugar! Okay, that’s the only corny dad joke you’ll hear from us. Promise.
But speaking of giant monsters, though, Bloodspawn will be viewed by attendees at Chicago’s G-Fest on July 13th at 10pm in a very special one-night-only pre-release sneak peek test screening!
G-FEST is a multi-faceted convention that caters to a wide variety of interests within the kaiju genre. G-FEST has grown to become a “family reunion” that welcomes more than 4,000 G-fans, offering a weekend of activities including filmmaking, model and costume making, video and table-top gaming, costume parades, art and model displays, contests, film festivals, and the largest kaiju-focused vendors room in the world.
In the spirit of G-Fest’s kaiju-tainment, the recently-completed Bloodspawn film will have its sneak peek test screening as part of the much-anticipated G-Fest Film Festival! These film festival features are sure to be a monster of good time with plenty of fun-filled thrills to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Don’t confuse this film festival with the movies playing at the Pickwick Theatre. Bloodspawn is one of the few carefully selected fresh and amazingly innovative independent kaiju style films from around the globe that are sure to inspire your creative spirit!
Filmmakers Derek S. Campbell and David Rotan will be in attendance, so be sure to join us downstairs in the International Ballrooms A, B, and C. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to chat with the filmmakers and nerd-out on practical effects discussions, learn about Bloodspawn’s Cherokee influences and have a chance to get an official film T-shirt!
